CM/ECF E-filing Registration

On March 7, 2022, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee (TNEB) upgraded its Case Management/Electronic Case Files System (CM/ECF) to the Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen).

NextGen requires attorney, trustee, and creditor filers to maintain a single login and password for e-filing access through PACER in all NextGen federal courts in which they have permission to e-file.

Please note: if you are only filing claims with the court, you may prefer to use the electronic proof of claim filing portal located on the linked webpage. Filers can use this portal without obtaining a PACER account or registering for CM/ECF access.

To obtain electronic filing access in our CM/ECF system, you must do the following.

1.  Have an active PACER account. Each filer must have their own upgraded PACER account, which must be linked to their CM/ECF filing account.  Shared PACER accounts can no longer be used by filers.
Set up your individual PACER account (attorney filers)
Set up your individual PACER account (non-attorney filers)

2. Submit a request for e-filing to TNEB through PACER.
