Amanda Stofan Appointed as a Subchapter V Trustee

Paul A. Randolph, Acting U.S. Trustee for Region 8, and Nick Foster, Assistant U.S. Trustee, have the pleasure of announcing that Amanda Stofan has been appointed to serve as a Subchapter V Trustee for the Eastern District of Tennessee effective March 7, 2025.  Ms. Stofan is the Managing Partner at Farinash & Stofan, a Chattanooga, Tennessee law firm that specializes in bankruptcy, commercial, and real estate law.  She received a B.A. from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School.  While Ms. Stofan has many years of bankruptcy experience,  she also owns and operates two title companies with her law partner.  Ms. Stofan is certified as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification, and she formerly served as a Board Member for the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute.  Locally, she serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Crabtree Farms, whose mission is to expand access to locally grown food, provide farm-based educational opportunities, and cultivate community.  Since February 6, 2024, Ms. Stofan has served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee in the Eastern District of Tennessee.
